May the remote start be with you

For some reason, I missed the excitement and comments over the advertisements for the Superbowl series this year. So I was delighted when some students included the Volkswagen Passat advertisement "The Force" in a media studies presentation they did this week. Apparently, it was voted the best ad of the Superbowl series. It is easy to see why. Even though the child's face is covered with the Darth Vader mask, the body movements at the end of the advertisement are priceless. Further, the ad's introduction cleverly satirizes the entrances of the "Dark Lord" from Star Wars.
